Nanni Moretti reflects on three poignant vignettes in his diary, each infused with a sharp sense of irony. The first depicts a solitary stroll through the empty streets of Rome, evoking both nostalgia and surrealism. Next, he travels to a secluded island to reconnect with a reclusive friend, exploring themes of isolation and friendship. Finally, he confronts the unsettling reality of an undiagnosed illness, adding a layer of existential introspection. These interconnected tales weave a rich tapestry of human experience, blending humor and profound insight.
