Love Is Never Silent

Set during the Depression, this drama follows a young woman torn between her craving for freedom and her sense of duty to her deaf parents. When a friend notices her inner conflict, she's urged to pursue her own happiness. At first, marriage brings her delight, but guilt over leaving her parents behind—and the resentment they direct at her—gradually wears that joy thin.
