The 1912 Douglas Mawson Antarctic Expedition is renowned for its extraordinary test of human endurance. While Mawson's two companions tragically lost their lives, he managed to survive against all odds. To explore this incredible story, scientist and adventurer Tim Jarvis embarks on a daring journey that mirrors Mawson's harrowing experience. Equipped with only the scant supplies, rudimentary gear, and clothing of the time, Jarvis seeks to unravel the physical and psychological challenges Mawson faced while teetering on the brink of survival in one of Earth's most unforgiving environments.
