Fresh out of college, Bram lands a position at a local newspaper, dreaming of becoming the next great journalist. However, the reality of the job quickly disillusions him as he finds himself crafting light-hearted articles like "Best Hot Dogs in the City" rather than engaging in hard-hitting journalism. When layoffs strike the paper, Bram uncovers a potentially scandalous story about the city’s controversial mayor. As he races against the mayor's slick aide, Kamal, Bram must navigate the challenges of real journalism to seize this opportunity for his career breakthrough.
