Three astronauts, stranded in their orbiting laboratory for months, face a dire situation when their de-orbit thrusters fail to activate. Initially contemplating abandonment, NASA quickly pivots to orchestrate a bold rescue mission. Complications arise as a hurricane looms over the launch site, intensifying the urgency of their efforts. Meanwhile, the dwindling air supply inside the astronauts' capsule adds to the tension, challenging both the rescue team and those trapped in space as they race against time to bring them home safely.
