Lou Pekinpaugh, a San Francisco private eye, finds himself embroiled in a tangled web of intrigue when he is accused of murdering his partner. The twist? His mistress, who happens to be his partner's wife, is suspected of orchestrating the crime. This clever parody playfully draws on the tropes of 1940s detective films, blending humor and mystery as Lou navigates a labyrinth of deception. With sharp wit and comedic flair, the story unfolds, revealing hidden motives and unexpected alliances in a world where nothing is quite as it seems.
