Keith Haring, Robert Mapplethorpe, and other iconic New York artists tragically lost to AIDS are the focus of Ira Sachs’ poignant documentary, Last Address. Filmed in the city where Sachs arrived in 1984, the documentary showcases the façades of the homes and studios where these creatives lived at the time of their passing. This reflective piece serves as a tribute to a generation's profound loss while simultaneously celebrating the enduring impact of their artistry on contemporary culture. Through haunting visuals, the film evokes both grief and the lasting legacy of these artists.
