Inside Tibet

For fifteen years, Western filmmakers have faced barriers in capturing the essence of Tibet. Director Jean-Michel Carré, however, secures permission to spend several months documenting the region's complex human, economic, and political landscapes. The film offers an eye-opening exploration of a timeless yet evolving Tibet, grappling with the modernity imposed by China. Featuring insights from locals and regional specialists, it sheds light on Tibet's unique situation as it navigates life under Chinese authority while remaining a pivotal player in global geopolitics.
