Eleven-year-old Nicolas resides with his mother in a secluded seaside community, where life is eerily quiet except for the local hospital. This facility serves as the focal point for unsettling occurrences, as all the village boys are compelled to participate in bizarre medical experiments. These trials aim to manipulate their evolutionary processes, leading Nicolas to question the sinister intentions behind these operations. As he uncovers the disturbing truths hidden within his environment, a sense of dread looms over the idyllic facade of their coastal home.
