In her vacant apartment, Anne watches as passersby hurriedly collect the discarded items she has left outside. Removing her ring symbolizes her decision to abandon her former life in Holland. She relocates to Ireland, embracing solitude as she roams the stark beauty of Connemara's landscapes. Amidst her journey, she encounters a secluded house inhabited by Martin, a hermit. Their unexpected meeting leads to a poignant exploration of connection and loneliness, as both navigate their pasts and the emotional weight of their choices in this starkly beautiful setting.
