Set against the backdrop of Vietnam in the late 1960s, a group of Australian SAS soldiers faces the stark realities of war. Their journey oscillates between the monotony of camp life and the chaos of ambushes and mortar attacks from hidden foes. As they navigate life-threatening encounters, grapple with the loss of comrades, and confront the challenges posed by military bureaucracy, their resilience is tested. Ultimately, these men return home, profoundly transformed by their harrowing experiences, yet relieved to reconnect with the familiar comforts of civilian life.
