Ernesto lives openly as a gay man, while Gabe struggles with his sexuality in a conservative, working-class Texas town. Their lives intersect amidst the challenges and heartaches of navigating love and acceptance in a society that often shuns them. As they confront their fears and desires, both men must grapple with their identities and the emotional scars that come with being true to themselves in an environment that feels hostile. Their journey explores the complexities of love, friendship, and the quest for belonging in a world that seems determined to keep them apart.
