For generations, the Inuit have thrived in the Arctic's icy expanse, but climate change is swiftly diminishing the sea ice that sustains their way of life. As the waters between Canada and Greenland open up, external interests pursue lucrative opportunities in oil, shipping, tourism, and fishing.
