Set against the vibrant backdrop of 1970s Los Angeles, Larry "Doc" Sportello, a private investigator with a penchant for psychedelics, is drawn into a convoluted mystery when his former girlfriend vanishes. As he navigates a tangled web of eccentric characters and sinister plots, Doc's quest for truth is as much about uncovering the fate of his lost love as it is about confronting the turbulent cultural changes of the era. With humor and surrealism, this noir-inspired tale explores the blurred lines between reality and illusion.
