During the summer of 2015, iconic musician David Byrne hosted a unique event at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, showcasing the vibrant world of Color Guard—a mesmerizing blend of dance and choreography with flags, rifles, and sabers. Collaborating with celebrated artists such as St. Vincent, Nelly Furtado, Ad-Rock, and Ira Glass, he brought together ten color guard teams from the U.S. and Canada to create original performances. Contemporary Color captures the essence of this extraordinary live show, presenting a visually stunning tribute to an art form that bridges music and movement.
