Dr. Blake hosts a television program titled "Independent Thinkers," resembling a cult-like self-help initiative. However, rather than fostering genuine independence, he employs an alien entity he refers to as The Brain to manipulate and control his viewers' minds. As Blake's influence grows, a clever yet troubled high school student, known for his mischievous antics, becomes the unexpected hero. He stands as the sole barrier to Blake's insidious plans for global domination, igniting a battle of wits that could determine the fate of free thought itself.
