Lobito Bound: A Journey to Africa's New Frontier

Amidst the global scramble for essential minerals, a new trade pathway is emerging in Central Africa. Lobito-Bound: A Journey to Africa’s New Frontier chronicles explorer Dwayne Fields, who teams up with pan-African mobile network Africell to traverse the Lobito Corridor from the Indian Ocean to the Atlantic. The film delves into the effects of international power dynamics on local communities, featuring firsthand accounts that question whether the Lobito Corridor will foster genuine development or merely alter the existing power structures.
