In "Bullets Over Broadway," aspiring playwright David Shayne secures financial backing from mobster Nick Valenti, leading to unexpected complications when Nick's girlfriend Olive, a talentless bimbo, is cast as the psychiatrist. David is further burdened by a leading man with a compulsive eating habit and a diva actress demanding more spotlight, all while dealing with Olive's overbearing hitman bodyguard. As chaos ensues, David faces a critical choice: prioritize his artistic integrity or navigate the murky waters of his reality, where life and art collide dramatically.
