Woodstock 99: Peace, Love, and Rage

Woodstock 99 aimed to capture the spirit of the iconic 1969 festival, celebrating peace and love through music. However, the three-day event spiraled into chaos, marred by riots, rampant looting, and shocking incidents of sexual assault. Documenting this stark contrast between intention and reality, the film delves into the factors that led to the festival's breakdown, examining the cultural tensions of the time and the darker side of human behavior when faced with a chaotic environment. The narrative serves as a cautionary tale about the fragility of ideals in the face of societal pressures.
