From Shock to Awe

Healing deep emotional scars poses a significant challenge, especially for two combat veterans grappling with intense trauma. In their quest for recovery, they turn away from conventional pharmaceuticals, opting instead for psychedelic treatments that recent studies suggest can effectively combat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). From Shock to Awe not only chronicles their transformative journeys but also prompts a broader examination of critical issues surrounding warfare, the pharmaceutical sector, and the intricacies of the US legal framework. Through personal narratives, the film explores the intersection of mental health and societal systems.
