A dedicated new teacher arrives at a troubled comprehensive school, quickly realizing that the use of corporal punishment exacerbates the existing issues. Determined to foster a more positive environment, she launches a campaign to eliminate this harsh discipline. Her efforts face resistance from traditionalists who believe in strict enforcement, but she remains steadfast in her belief that compassion and understanding can lead to real change. As she navigates the challenges of her role, she inspires both students and faculty to reconsider their approach to discipline and education.
