An American art dealer of German descent, Martin Schulz, returns to his homeland, only to become increasingly captivated by the allure of Nazi ideology. His initial visit spirals into a moral conflict as he grapples with his past and the seductive pull of propaganda. As he navigates the complexities of loyalty and identity, Martin’s journey exposes the darker side of nationalism and the consequences of his choices. The film deftly explores themes of conscience and the impact of political fervor on personal relationships during a tumultuous era.
