Jimmy Barnes, known for his nine #1 albums, stands as a towering figure in Australian rock. Yet, beneath the surface of his fame lies a tumultuous history marked by abuse and hardship. Born James Dixon Swan in Glasgow, he faced a harsh upbringing in North Adelaide, grappling with addiction and poverty. Music became his refuge, leading him to the band Cold Chisel. However, the rock lifestyle brought its own challenges. Directed by Mark Joffe and based on Barnes' bestselling memoir, *Working Class Boy* offers an authentic narrative of struggle, creativity, and the quest for redemption.
