A Distant Episode

Set against the surreal backdrop of Sidi Ifni's beaches in Morocco, this thought-provoking exploration of filmmaking unfolds behind the scenes. Without dialogue or commentary, it captures enigmatic events that evoke a sense of otherworldliness. The imagery resembles a lost film unearthed from a distant future, immersing viewers in a dreamlike, monochromatic experience. Each frame invites contemplation on the nature of cinema itself, blurring the lines between reality and illusion. Ben Rivers presents a hauntingly beautiful fragment that lingers in the mind long after the screen fades to black.
