Lacrau

A deaf viper and a blind scorpion symbolize the disconnection between humanity and nature. Set against a backdrop of a chaotic city versus a serene countryside, Lacrau explores the journey back to simpler times. It reflects on the emotional void created by relentless progress, urging a return to fundamental human experiences and relationships. Through encounters with the natural world—animals and plants alike—characters confront loneliness and rediscover ancient feelings of wonder and fear. Ultimately, the film invites viewers to reconnect with the essence of existence, where beginnings and endings blur, yet personal transformation is inevitable.
