Jimmy Voss, a sports journalist from New York City, finds himself in the heart of Iowa tasked with reporting on the last season of six-on-six girls' high school basketball in 1993. As he immerses himself in the local culture, he uncovers a profound passion for the sport within the small town—a fervor that defies the notion that the game is fading away. Through his journey, Voss learns about community, resilience, and the enduring spirit of a beloved tradition that continues to bring people together.
