At just 14, Ola navigates a chaotic home life, caring for her troubled father and autistic brother, Nikodem, while her mother remains distant, only reachable by phone. Desperate for family unity, Ola clings to the hope of rekindling connections. She seizes Nikodem's upcoming Holy Communion as a chance to bring everyone together, believing that a perfect celebration could mend their broken bonds. "Communion" beautifully captures the resilience of the vulnerable and the transformative power of love, illustrating that even amid despair and dysfunction, change is possible and failure can lead to redemption.
