The 1960s marked a transformative era in America, fueled by the ambitious NASA space program that famously landed Neil Armstrong on the moon. Yet, it was Eugene Cernan, a daring test pilot, who navigated the treacherous journey of lunar exploration. Alongside 14 other men, he formed deep bonds and rivalries through a clandestine selection process. Cernan became one of only three astronauts to journey to the moon twice, with his second mission concluding NASA’s lunar expeditions. Director Mark Craig presents a poignant biography, blending rare insights from Cernan and fellow astronauts with stunning archival footage and breathtaking lunar vistas.
