Featuring the same characters and creative team as its predecessor, I Am Curious (Yellow), the follow-up, I Am Curious (Blue), shifts its focus to explore themes of personal relationships, religion, and sexuality, all set against the backdrop of Sweden's political landscape. Unlike the first film, Blue steers away from class consciousness and non-violence discussions, offering a fresh perspective on the complex interplay of societal issues and intimate connections. As with Yellow, the title references the colors of the Swedish flag, enriching its cultural commentary.
