Marge struggles to find her place in a relentless suburban high school, but everything changes when her supportive mother dies unexpectedly. Alone and lost, she seeks refuge with her ultra-conservative grandparents, only to decide to search for her estranged father—a washed-up soccer star living in Mexico, coaching a women’s team. Their reunion is fraught with tension as both grapple with their pasts. Despite their differences, they might just discover that healing and growth are possible when they confront their shared history together.
