Anne is a passionate advocacy lawyer focused on protecting society's most vulnerable, particularly children and young adults. She seems to have it all—an idyllic life with her doctor husband, Peter, and their twin daughters. However, when her estranged teenage stepson, Gustav, comes to live with them, Anne's suppressed desires spiral out of control. This obsession propels her into a perilous situation, and as the truth comes to light, it sets off a chain reaction that threatens to unravel her seemingly perfect existence.
