A dissolute Shakespearean actor finds himself ensnared in the chaotic world of the Italian film scene while visiting Rome. As he grapples with relentless torment from the industry, insatiable fans, and intrusive media, he faces an even more sinister adversary: the Devil personified as a mischievous little girl intent on claiming his soul. The surreal journey blurs the lines between reality and madness, revealing the actor's inner demons and the price of fame in a world that is as enchanting as it is cruel.
