A weary Logan, now a shadow of his former self, tends to the ailing Professor X in a secluded refuge near the Mexican border. His desire for solitude and escape from his past is shattered when a young mutant seeking safety finds her way to him, drawing the attention of sinister forces. As Logan grapples with his own demons, he must confront not only the dangers threatening the girl but also his own legacy in a world that has long since forgotten heroes.
