My Dad, the Peace Deal and Me

Patrick Kielty embarks on a personal journey back to Northern Ireland, where he confronts the painful legacy left by the murder of his father at the hands of paramilitary forces. Two decades after the landmark peace agreement, Kielty investigates its impact on the lives of those affected by the conflict. Through poignant interviews and reflections, he seeks to understand the evolving landscape of reconciliation and the lingering scars of violence that still affect communities. This documentary blends personal history with a broader commentary on peace and healing in a fractured society.
