Howard, a reserved morgue attendant, finds himself infatuated with Christine, a girl whose life tragically ends up in his workplace. Undeterred by her death, he harbors a deep love for her, believing that she belongs with him. In his mind, Christine deserves more than a grave; she should be cherished by his side. As he dresses, nourishes, and cares for her, Howard's obsession blurs the lines between love and madness, revealing the lengths one might go to for companionship—even in the most unconventional circumstances.
