This documentary chronicles the emergence and growth of the Seattle post-punk band, the Gits, whose journey to fame was tragically interrupted by the brutal rape and murder of their passionate lead singer, Mia Zapata, in 1993. Through a mix of live performances and thoughtful conversations with the surviving band members, O'Kane's heartfelt tribute honors Zapata's legacy and highlights the lasting impact of the Gits on music and culture.
