Dr. Lee Johnson, a self-centered physician, joins the Army medical corps during World War II, driven more by social expectation than true patriotism. On his first day, he encounters 'Snapshot', a witty and alluring nurse, igniting a fiery yet contentious relationship. As their chemistry deepens into romance, Lee grapples with guilt over his infidelity, knowing his wife Penny is anxiously awaiting his return. The conflict between duty, desire, and loyalty complicates his experience, forcing Lee to confront the repercussions of his choices amid the chaos of war.
