Unjustly confined to a Parisian asylum, a young woman hatches a daring escape plan with the assistance of a compassionate nurse. As she navigates the oppressive environment of the institution, her determination to reclaim her freedom grows stronger. Inspired by Victoria Mas's novel "Le bal des folles," the story explores themes of resilience and the harsh realities faced by women deemed mad in a patriarchal society. The bond formed between the two women becomes pivotal in challenging societal norms and fighting for autonomy amidst the confines of a stifling system.
