Bill Hayward emerges from eight years in prison, only to confront a harsh reality—his two sons, aged 11 and 15, are left to navigate life alone after their mother has vanished. Instead of embracing fatherhood, Bill is reluctant to take on the responsibilities that come with it. His desire to escape his past and avoid the role of caregiver leads to a tense and emotional struggle, as the boys grapple with their abandonment while Bill battles his own demons. Ultimately, the family must confront the choices that define them.
