What if one’s perception of reality could reshape their life? For Betty, a waitress from Fair Oaks, Kansas, who adores soap operas, the line between fantasy and reality blurs after a traumatic incident. Convinced she can be with her dream man, despite his fictional existence, she enters a fugue state that empowers her to navigate life on her own terms. Embracing this alternate reality, Betty defies the boundaries of her circumstances, determined to live fully, regardless of the truth surrounding her.
