Zach Riley, a psychiatrist, transitions from a renowned university to the exclusive Millwood mental institution. What he keeps hidden is a deeply personal connection: Millwood was once the home for his father, T.L. Pierson, a novelist who spent countless years there. As Zach navigates his new role, he confronts the shadows of his father's past and the complex realities within the institution, forcing him to reconcile his family's legacy with his own professional journey. The haunting atmosphere of Millwood becomes a backdrop for Zach's exploration of memory and identity.
