Under the Same Sun

Set in the near future, the narrative reflects on the groundbreaking peace achieved in 2013 between Israel and Palestine. It follows two businessmen—one Israeli and one Palestinian—who endeavor to launch a solar energy company despite societal pressure and family opposition. As they navigate hostility and skepticism, their partnership blossoms into a beacon of hope. Ultimately, they galvanize support through a Facebook campaign, rallying public enthusiasm for both their venture and the broader peace initiative. Produced by Academy Award-nominated Amir Harel and directed by acclaimed Palestinian filmmaker Sameh Zoabi, this film sheds light on resilience and collaboration.
