A privileged family in Calais navigates personal turmoil and challenges while remaining largely oblivious to the dire plight of nearby refugee camps. As tensions rise and secrets unfold, their comfortable existence contrasts sharply with the suffering just outside their doorstep. The film artfully explores themes of privilege, denial, and the human condition, shining a light on the disconnect between affluence and the harsh realities faced by those in need. Through sharp dialogue and poignant moments, it captures the complexities of a society grappling with its conscience.
