The only disruption comes from the rare visits of Astrov, the town’s doctor, whose presence stirs new emotions and unspoken desires. As time drifts by, tensions rise and buried feelings surface, revealing the complexities of their relationships and the weight of unfulfilled dreams in their secluded existence.
