The Black Prince chronicles the life of the last Sikh Maharaja, a young boy who ascended to the throne at just five years old following the death of his father, Ranjit Singh. In 1849, the British dethroned him and exiled him to England. Throughout his life, the prince struggled to navigate political turmoil and sought to return to India to reclaim his rightful place. However, his efforts to regain his kingdom were consistently undermined by British colonial forces, highlighting a poignant tale of loss and resilience.
