A Vanishing Fog

'A Vanishing Fog' offers a poignant exploration of life’s cyclical nature, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Colombia’s Sumapaz Páramo, the largest Alpine tundra on Earth. This sacred landscape, vital for the drinking water of 11 million residents in the capital, remains largely untouched by human interference. However, it has transformed into a lawless zone, where F and his father, alongside fellow locals, stand as guardians against encroaching criminal activity. The film beautifully intertwines themes of loss and renewal, reflecting on the profound connections between people and their environment.
