An ancient Nordic being, known as The Shadow in contemporary times and Ivar in the past, manipulates a priest to obtain the soul of a woman he desires. His ultimate goal is to present her as an offering to The Old One, hoping to achieve his own redemption through this dark pact. As the priest grapples with his moral compass, the stakes rise, intertwining themes of faith, corruption, and the battle between good and evil in a chilling narrative that explores the depths of sacrifice and the quest for salvation.
