WWE SummerSlam 2022 marked the 35th iteration of this iconic wrestling event, showcasing talent from both the Raw and SmackDown brands. Taking place on July 30, 2022, at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, it was notable for being the first SummerSlam held outside of August. Fans worldwide could catch the action via pay-per-view or livestream on Peacock in the U.S. and the WWE Network elsewhere. This event was particularly significant as it followed the retirement of Vince McMahon, who had been a pivotal figure in WWE since 1982.
