Eating Air captures the whirlwind romance of two contrasting teens during Singapore’s hottest month on record. Boy finds thrill in moonlit escapades, breaking into bridal shops, while Girl experiences the exhilarating rush of her first motorcycle ride through the vibrant fluorescent tunnels of the CTE. The film beautifully explores the highs and lows of teenage love, delving into the intoxicating madness that makes 18-year-olds feel invincible, undeterred by obstacles like low fuel and roadside mishaps. It’s a nostalgic look at youthful passions and the reckless abandon of adolescence.
