First Monday in October

When a groundbreaking appointment makes her the first woman on the U.S. Supreme Court, Justice Ruth Ellen (played by Jill Clayburgh) steps into a world of intense legal debates and politics. She quickly finds herself in a spirited rivalry with her liberal colleague, Justice Dan Snow (portrayed by Walter Matthau). Their contrasting ideologies spark both tension and camaraderie, as they navigate pivotal cases that challenge their beliefs.
